Conflict is
information.
The goal isn’t to eliminate disagreement.
It’s to help you understand the cycle,
lower the intensity, repair more effectively,
and protect the friendship underneath
the conflict.
Good relationships aren’t conflict-free.
They’re relationships where couples know
how to find their way back to each other.
Everyday, practical tools.
Based on The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work by John Gottman.

Real feedback from past participants.
“The workshop allowed us to practice navigating through what could be real life scenarios and gave us the tools to navigate on our own.”
“Learning the tools and approach to communicate with each other productively, getting up-to-date on who we each are today (not just who we were when we met).”
Wondering what to expect?
Will we have to share personal details with the group?
No. The exercises are designed for you to do privately with your partner. You won’t be asked to disclose intimate relationship details in front of everyone.
What if one of us is more excited about the workshop than the other?
That’s very common. You don’t both have to arrive equally enthusiastic for the workshop to be useful.
What if we tend to argue when we talk about relationship issues?
The workshop is structured to help you slow things down and approach difficult conversations differently, rather than turning the day into one long relationship discussion.
Is this appropriate if we’re in a serious crisis?
A workshop may not be the best fit for couples dealing with an active safety concern, ongoing violence, or a crisis that needs individualized clinical attention.
Will we get materials to take home?
Yes. You’ll receive materials you can revisit after the workshop so the tools don’t disappear once the afternoon is over.
How private is the experience?
Although you’ll be learning alongside other couples, most of the actual relationship work happens privately between you and your partner.
What should we bring?
Just yourselves. You may want a notebook, but everything you need for the exercises will be provided.
Can we come even if we’re already in couples therapy?
Absolutely. The workshop can complement ongoing therapy by giving you structured tools to practice together.
